The class EOC, making a documentary is currently under production. An in depth study on the horror legends and what they did right, similarly and differently.
Fortnite Shutting Down
Epic Games, developer of the wildly successful Fortnite: Battle Royale, has recently lost a lawsuit with Bluehole Games, developer of Player Unknown Battle Grounds.
Both these games are very similar in terms of themes and gameplay, being a part of the “Battle Royale” genre that is all the rage at the moment. But with Bluehole games’s plan to file a lawsuit against all Battle Royale type games on terms of copyright infringement, this genre could be seeing its end very soon…
Meta Shifts
Overwatch is slowly making a shift in its meta with the introduction of Brigitte. She, and a handful of other heroes (Roadhog, orisa, and zen) make for an effective Anti-dive Meta.
This meta counters a popular “Dive meta” witch has been the main way to ply and is rather difficult to counter (at least in gold).
This meta will help players find a new way to play the game and might show more strategies in the future.
New hero: Brigette!
coming to console on March 20, Brigette Lindohlm is the 27th hero of overwatch. With her whip and shield, she’s bashing her way into the meta
The new meta
Recently, Overwatch has released a new update in time for competitive season 9 to feature its changes. With this, the meta in my opinion is taking a huge shift towards the hero Sombra. However, the season hasn’t started yet and more info is needed to draw an accurate conclusion
Overwatch: new heroes, new changes, new metas
With the end of the year of the dog event coming up and the uprising event moving to replace it, New changes to old heroes are coming in as well as a new hero being introduced some point soon so hopefully I can post new stuff here
new mons, new meta
Recently, a new game released in the pokemon franchise. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (USUM) and with that a new set of legendaries. mythic and OP pokemon. Stay listed for competitive reviews of the seven new mons.
The future
Now don’t get me wrong, I like what I do here. I really do but, there is only so much one can do on competitive gaming. So, after much deliberation, I have decided to broaden my Radius of influence to a more generalized tech blog.
Legendary Halo
The definition of Legendary follows as “remarkable enough to be famous; very well known.”
In the Halo game series, it is the hardest difficulty in the game (Save for Mythic) and, OH MY GOD Legendary is difficult.
For background information, on normal, (The second easiest difficulty) the standard enemy in halo 2 the Elite Minor, is equipped with a plasma rifle. On normal, the Elite takes one second to start firing from noticing you and fires five round bursts with .5 seconds between each shot and 2 seconds between each burst.
Assuming the Elite hits every shot it takes seven seconds to kill you if you don’t move. In Legendary, The same minor takes .1 seconds to start firing and fires in 11 round bursts and takes .5 seconds between bursts. That kills you in .75 seconds. Combine that with near invincible enemies and lack of support from your paper and glass allies make legendary quite the undertaking…
Lets talk: Blaziken and gen 3
Blaziken. What more to say about this terrifying gen 3 mon who never graced anything below OU? Amazing Fire/Fighting typing, Sky high attack and speed, amazing ability in speed boost and a deep move pool.
All and all, Gen 3 was a good gen for competitive. Weather, abilities, more good mons. Blaziken, Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquasa where the 3 best come out of this gen in my competitive opinion.
